Inter CEO of Sport, Beppe Marotta, revealed that no offers have come in for Croatian international winger Ivan Perisic, when coming out from a transfer window summit meeting.

The former Juventus CEO told Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia that the meeting was not a strange occurrence but one Nerazzurri President Steven Zhang asked to have given that he wasn’t present in Turin against the Granata.

“The dinner went well, it is a very normal situation, we just updated each other on the situation. The President invited us and we accepted his invitation, as he was not in Turin yesterday [Sunday].”

“It is difficult to keep players that don’t want to stay but no offer has arrived yet so therefore the prerequisite for a transfer simply isn’t there. This also happens at other teams, I am a supporter of a restrictive transfer window, but with the fact that it closes on the 31st [January] a lot of of players wish to leave their clubs.”
