Inter are willing to agree to a loan swap deal with Arsenal involving Ivan Perisic and Mesut Ozil, so long as the Gunners pay half of Ozil’s bumper salary according to a report from British newspaper the Daily Star.

Ozil has endured a difficult time at the club since Unai Emery took charge in the Summer and currently earns £350,000 (approximately €400,000) a week. Inter are unwilling to pay that and want the Premier League side to assist them in order for any deal to take place.

The report goes on to add that Arsenal wish to take Perisic on loan for the remainder of the season with an option to turn the move permanent but it does not state if Inter have similar intentions for Ozil.

Various other reports in the media have suggested that Inter will not entertain Arsenal simply only having an option to keep the Croatian and would rather Arsenal were obliged to make it permanent.
