Inter’s wing department could look significantly different in the coming days according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ivan Perisic, as confirmed by Inter CEO Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta before Torin-Inter, has requested to leave the club and has drawn interest from Arsenal in particular. Inter are looking to loan him out for the remainder of the season for a sum of €5 million that would have a €40 million redemption option attached although Inter would far rather it be an obligation to buy instead.

Perisic’s desire to leave is set in stone but Interisti need not worry due to the fact club management are already working on a replacement for the Croat in the shape of Yannick Carrasco. The Belgian is looking to return to Europe having spent the past few years in China with Dalian Yifang.

The report goes on to state that out-of-favour Antonio Candreva – who has also asked to leave – could be part of a deal that brings former Atletico Madrid man Carrasco to the Nerazzurri.
