You know the drill. Its January and its time for our annual go off the rails moments. As respected Italian football journalist David Amoyal says, this is Inter’s Britney Spears going bald, smashing windows time.

Inter continued their poor run of form from the Sassuolo game and this time dipped to a new low leaving Luciano Spalletti with some on field problems in addition to the off field issues. Let’s see how our players and coach performed in Turin…

Samir Handanovic – 5: If the cross is high and loopy and takes an age to come down, the keeper should be catching it. Struggled all game to do that. Poor for their goal.

Danilo D’Ambrosio – 5: Danilo looked like his socks were filled with lead. OK maybe he doesn’t have the speed for a wing back role but never made a decent run.

Stefan de Vrij – 6: The only saving grace tonight. Stood between Torino and Handanovic so many times it was difficult to keep count. Thank you Lazio and Lotito.

Milan Skriniar – 5: Absolutely his worst performance for Inter. Kept over running the ball and losing it in the centre circle. Couldn’t deal with counter attacks. Poor.

Miranda – 5.5: Did a very good job on Zaza and perhaps should have stayed on longer. Yes, he cant play the ball out of the back but he can do his primary job well.

Dalbert – 5: Dalbert had a lot of the ball. Made a lot of the runs in the wide open spaces he got, but when the time came to make a simple cross or pass, fluff.

Matias Vecino – 4.5: Doing a Vecino. Managing to play game after game despite being invisible for most of the time and shooting when you have to pass etc.

Marcelo Brozovic – 5.5: Struggled in his new Mezzala role in the first half. Then we switched and he started to regain control and dictate tempo. Too little to late though.

Joao Mario – 5: Couldn’t control the ball when he had to link up with the front two. Tried too many fancy touches and passes and they never come off in Serie A.

Mauro Icardi – 4.5: This barren run has gone on too long. Yes, the service isn’t there at all, but as captain he needs to do more. Where is the inspiration? Show us some.

Lautaro Martinez – 5: After all the huffing and puffing he finally got to start with Mauro but messed up right at the start. Didn’t have the same impact he has off the bench.

Radja Nainggolan – 5.5: Probably the only midfielder who never lost his mind during the game. Kept calm and fought to win the 50-50’s everyone had forgotten about.

Matteo Politano-4.5: Some great sparks off the bench today but then went down too easily and then talked himself into getting a direct red card. Unacceptable.

Antonio Candreva- N/A: Thrown on just for the heck off it. There were no other attackers left on the bench. Still managed to show he is still in last seasons mode.

Luciano Spalletti – 4: There is no point in changing the formation if we are going to play the same way. The problem is not tactics it’s the mentality. Needs to sort it out.

Fabio Maresca – 4.5: Fell for a lot of tricks by the Torino forwards. An experienced referee would have asked Politano to shut up and booked him. Typical Italian ref.

Inter – 3: The last two games have shown the problems are off the pitch in the locker room. Good news is the transfer market shuts in four days. Time for ritiro.

Agree? Disagree? How do we get out of this? Should we continue with the 3 man defence? Will the transfer market sort itself out in 4 days? Please let us know below or over our social media
