The agent of Antonio Candreva, Federico Pastorello, has backtracked earlier statements about his client’s future at the club and has now confirmed that he will not be going anywhere.

“Candreva is staying at Inter, at the express will of the club, in agreement with Mr Spalletti. They expressed and reiterated their full confidence in the player,” Pastorello said in an interview with Cittaceleste.

At the end of last week Pastorello stated that his client’s future with the Nerazzurri was not assured and that they were keeping their options open and would talk over any offers that arrived with Inter due to the fact Candreva is very much down the pecking order at the club.

The former Lazio winger joined Inter in the Summer of 2016 and has been limited to just over 500 minutes on the pitch spread across 14 appearances. In his time on the field, the Italian has scored three goals and tallied one assist.
