Inter’s management have been left worried by the up and down performances of the side this season according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
While Inter are sat in third place and have a six point gap on fifth placed Lazio, Inter lack the consistency that they require if they wish to challenge for the Serie A title. They are eight points off second place and 19 off top spot.
The goals have also dried up for Inter in the league too with the Nerazzurri scoring just four goals in their last seven league outings and no goals in either of their last two league games.
The Rome based newspaper have also speculated on potential replacements for Luciano Spalletti come the end of the season should he not qualify for the Champions League and fail to go far in both the Coppa Italia and the Europa League.
Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho are two ideas while Diego Simeone is another but is close to signing a contract extension with Atletico Madrid. The report continues to suggest that Juventus manager Max Allegri could also replace Spalletti but it is difficult to imagine him taking over Inter in the Summer.
