Tuttosport believe that Inter new boy Cedric Soares can help Inter as goals continue to be hard to come by for the Nerazzurri.

The Portuguese is a technically gifted defender – who has joined Inter on loan for the remainder of the season with an option of a permanent move from Southampton -and his pin-point crosses could well change Inter’s recent misfortune in front of goal.

Inter have scored just four times in their past seven league games and it was almost two months ago since they last managed to score at least two goals in a league game. Since the 2-2 draw with Roma, Inter attack has begun to falter and they have now not scored in their past two league games.

Part of the problem is the lack of service club captain and top goalscorer Mauro Icardi has been provided with. The Argentine has just one goal in the past seven league games and that came from the penalty spot against Udinese five games ago.

Inter have also had to deal without Keita Balde due to injury. The Senegalese was really coming on to a game before his thigh injury and could be back this weekend as Inter face Bologna.
