Perisic Continues To Train Separately To Inter Teammates

Want-away Inter winger Ivan Perisic has continued to train separately to the rest of his Inter teammates today according to a report from Sky Sport.

The Croatian has recently expressed a desire to move on from the club amidst interest from Premier League side Arsenal and was an unused substitute in Inter’s loss to Torino.

The soon-to-be 30-year-old has been with Inter since 2015 and has made nearly 150 appearances for the club since arriving from Wolfsburg. This season he has made 25 appearances but has not contributed as much as he has in previous seasons, scoring just three goals and tallying five assists.

The report continues that Stefan de Vrij is also suffering from some slight fatigue and as a result he could miss Inter’s Coppa Italia quarter final match with his former employers Lazio on Thursday. With the Dutchman seemingly out, Miranda will partner Milan Skriniar at the heart of the defence.
