Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will deploy the best Inter team presently available to him in tomorrow night’s Coppa Italia quarter final match with Lazio according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Having been an unused substitute in the 1-0 loss to Torino, left back Kwadwo Asamoah will be back in the starting eleven as will Matteo Politano, who came off the bench in Turin.

Spalletti is also likely to ditch the three defender formation he used at the weekend and could well opt to deploy Inter in a 4-3-3 formation. Icardi will spearhead the attack and will have either Joao Mario or Antonio Candreva to his left and Politano to his right.

Alternatively, due to injuries to wingers Keita Balde and Ivan Perisic, Spalletti could decide to go winger-less and use a 4-3-1-2 instead wherein Radja Nainggolan would play in behind Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez.

The report adds that new boy Cedric Soares is available for selection but it remains to be seen if he will be given the start due to only recently arriving and only partaking in a few sessions with teammates.
