Despite Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio yesterday confirming that the Nerazzurri’s transfer window is over on all fronts, Corriere dello Sport report that he and Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta spoke with officials from both Lazio and Sampdoria yesterday.
On the sidelines of the same event where Ausilio spoke on Inter’s transfer window, they spoke with Sampdoria’s sporting director Carlo Osti.
These talks, the report states, were useful to bring an update on the situation of Joachim Andersen. Inter are very keen on signing the Danish central defender in the Summer despite already reportedly securing the signature of Atletico Madrid’s Diego Godin on a pre-contract agreement.
As for Lazio, Inter spoke with the capital club’s sporting director Igli Tare. In the coming months further talks could well take place especially if the Aquile decrease their demands for midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The Serbian midfielder was rumoured to be valued at over €100 million last Summer but after a series of poor performances this season, his price is dropping.
