New Inter signing, Brazilian U20 international goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao, looks to be spending his first months in Italy in Parma as opposed to with Chievo Verona, Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di marzio reports.

According to the report, the negotiations between Inter and Chievo have suffered a stumbling block these fast few hours, which has given newly promoted Serie A side Parma just the opening they wished for in order to step in an hijack the deal.

The Nerazzurri wish to send the young Brazilian goalkeeper, who is currently part of the U20 Brazil set up partaking in the U20 Work Cup, on loan for 6 months before bringing him to the club in the summer. A deal very reminiscent of the one that saw Julio Cesar join Inter almost a decade ago.

That time, Julio Cesar joined Chievo Verona before making the move to Inter, and it looked like history would repeat itself, but it seems Parma have overtaken Chievo and are now the most probable destination for the young Brazilian goalkeeper.
