Turin based newspaper Tuttosport tries to guess Spalletti’s starting eleven for tonight’s match against Lazio in the quarterfinal of the Coppa Italia at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
Samir Handanovic should return to the starting lineup after Daniele Padelli played in the previous round against Benevento. In defence Danilo D’Ambrosio and Kwadwoh Asamoah should start on either side as new signing Cedric Soares will not start from the beginning. In the centre of defence, with Stefan De Vrij out suffering from muscle fatigue, Skriniar and Miranda should start with the Brazilian favoured over Andrea Ranocchia.
Roberto Gagliardini and Borja Valero should support Brozovic in the midfield while Politano, who is disqualified for two matches in the league that the club will not appeal, will start in the front three with Icardi and they will be accompanied by one between Joao Mario and Candreva.
Nainggolan and Perisic, for different reasons, should start from the bench.
