According to Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Matteo Politano will return to the starting lineup tonight against Lazio in the Coppa Italia, especially given the fact that he will be disqualified for two matches in the league as Spalletti announced that Inter will not appeal the suspension.

Cedric Soares has also received his first call up after joining on an initial loan from Southampton this month, however he is likely to start from the bench, with his full debut postponed until the league match against Bologna on Sunday.

Luciano Spalletti is likely to revert back to his 4-3-3 with Joao Mario high on the left in the offensive trident. With Stefan De Vrij out injured, Miranda is likely to take his place in defence alongside the ever-present Milan Skriniar.

Inter (4-3-3): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Milan Skriniar, Miranda, Kwadwoh Asamoah; Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic, Borja Valero; Matteo Politano, Mauro Icardi, Joao Mario.
