Inter are looking to bring Croatian international midfielder Ivan Rakitic to the Serie A and Milano in the summer according to Spanish tabloid Sport.
According to the report, the Blaugrana, have identified this coming summer’s signing from Ajax, Frenkie de Jong, as the ideal replacement for the former Sevilla player. This has reportedly alerted the Nerazzurri to make a move and they are looking to bring Rakitic in this summer.
However according to the report, Rakitic himself has no intention of leaving Barcelona as he is very happy there having experienced the best moments of his career with the Blaugrana, with theLa Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League treble in 2015 the highlight.
The Croatian midfield maestro Rakitic joined Barcelona in the summer of 2014 from fellow La Liga outfit Sevilla and has since then featured 246 times scoring on 34 occasions across all competitions. Rakitic was also a member of Croatia’s World Cup squad that made it to the final last summer.
