Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic was understandably happy after his side defeated Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

“I am happy, as this proves what you can do with courage – you can beat Inter at San Siro. If we don’t win next Sunday against Genoa, though, then it’s all a waste. I was glad that even after those two early errors in which we ran a big risk of going behind, the lads didn’t get scared and they kept going with the right attitude.”

“It wasn’t easy, but as I told the lads, the result wasn’t interesting to me. If we won, that’d be better, but I wanted to see the performance. Inter only had a couple of chances in the first half, while our tempo dropped after the break, but we all worked together under pressure.”

In conclusion Mihajlovic cooled down talks of Inter being in crisis stating that: “Inter played well and were unlucky on a couple of situations, so if they had scored early, it would’ve been a very different game. But football is made up of incidents and you’ve got to earn your luck too. I am convinced that if they keep playing like this, Inter will recover.”
