Tuttosport have examined the possibility of Inter landing Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic during the upcoming Summer transfer window.

With the Blaugrana splashing out €75 million on Frenkie de Jong, margins for a deal are there with de Jong seen as the heir to Rakitic’s throne at the Nou Camp. It is evident that with de Jong’s signing, the Spanish giants are looking to go in a new direction and if Rakitic doesn’t extend his contract he could well be put on the market despite his agent already denying he will leave in the Summer.

The Turin based newspaper have also brought an update on Inter’s interest in Porto midfielder Hector Herrera. For the time being any move is on hold due to the demands of his representatives.

Inter are continuing to look toward Real Madrid where dream signing Toni Kroos plays and former Inter star Mateo Kovacic does too. So long as Chelsea don’t make Kovacic’s temporary stay permanent, it could be possible that the Croatian makes a San Siro return.
