Having now lost three games in the past eight days, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti’s future as the manager of the club is at risk according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The Rome based newspaper speculate that the former Roma manager has perhaps lost the dressing room and some of his recent choices have been difficult to understand such as the decision to play Matias Vecino out wide or play Andrea Ranocchia as a striker.
The report continues to state that Inter’s management team are perplexed at what is going on at this difficult moment for the club. Just like last year and many years before, Inter collapse during Winter. They seemingly have no identity on the pitch, goals have dried up and they are not playing fluidly. Inter have not scored a league goal since last year and club captain and star striker Mauro Icardi’s goal drought has extended to six games after last night.
