Following Inter’s 1-0 loss to Bologna, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is at a real risk of being sacked if Inter record another negative result in their next game against Parma according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
After the loss to Bologna, the club management had to separate meetings. The first was to discuss the current problems that the club are facing on the pitch while in the second meeting it was decided that Spalletti would be in charge at least until the Parma game.
Inter have picked up just one point in three league games since the turn of the year and are still without a goal too and coupled with their earlier than planned exit from the Coppa Italia, it has not been a good start to 2019 for the Nerazzurri.
Sacking Spalletti will not come cheap for Inter if it is to come to this with the Milan based newspaper suggesting it could cost about €20 million gross.
