Inter could re-ignite their interest in Yannick Carrasco come the Summer transfer window having been forced to abandon a move for the winger during the January transfer window according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Inter and other interested clubs were unable to satisfy the demands of Dalian Yifang, the Chinese clubs where the Belgian international plays his football.

Having forked out a considerable sum to convince him to China in the first place, Dalian understandably were/are not ready to just let him go on the cheap.

As per the report they would entertain swap deals and while the rumour was that Antonio Candreva was going to be part of Inter’s offer, the Italian did not want to move and Dalian did not regard him as a priority to sign.

Had Ivan Perisic been sold during the window it could’ve opened up the opportunity for Inter to put a cash offer together for Carrasco, who is understood to be valued at between €30-35 million by Dalian, where he is one of the key players.
