In an interview with CalcioMercato.com, Mario Sconcerti has touched on several issues related to the Serie A, including the race for the Champions League places.

“I do not think Juventus, Napoli and Inter will have problems but for the fourth place Roma and Milan seem to have something more. Lazio are solid and can make their own path, but keep an eye on Atalanta, they have more desire than anybody else and have the best coach in Serie A after Allegri,” he explained.

On the current sensitive situation at Inter, he added: “There’s always something, it’s always the same Inter, not growing or learning, it’s apathy, they are missing Keita a lot. At the beginning of the season Inter had so many players that they could free themselves from the reliance on Icardi and his goals, but everyone is now absent or out of form, from Keita to Politano, from Lautaro to Nainggolan. The truth is that Inter has so many problems that Spalletti has not been able to solve. For three years they have been trying without success to find a reliable midfielder, Borja Valero, Jovetic, Rafinha, Ljajic and even Brozovic, who has since been transformed, fortunately.”
