Milan have taken some concrete steps toward signing Hector Herrera on a pre-contract according to a report from Sport Mediaset.
As per the report, Milan’s management are in intense conversation with the players agent Gabriel Moraes over a possible move to the Rossoneri.
Moraes has already had similar talks with both Inter and Roma in recent weeks but due to the uncertainty when it comes to the managerial situation at each club, the club have taken a step back.
Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is wanting the Mexican but if he is to be sacked, his replacement may not want Herrera at the club and this is the same situation with Eusebio Di Francesco at the Giallorossi.
The 28-year-old midfielder – who captains the Portuguese giants – has made a total of 35 appearances across all competitions this season. In nearly 3000 minutes on the park, Herrera has scored four goals and tallied one assist.
