As part of his press conference ahead of their match with PSG at the weekend, Bordeaux manager Eric Bedouet addressed the recent suspension of Yann Karamoh.

The Inter owned winger has been suspended by Les Girondins with reports suggesting he was part of a bust-up with the club’s assistant manager in training earlier this week.

“It is a decision that has been taken by the club and I will not talk about it in detail as it is not worth mentioning it. We are Bordeaux and we have to be very esteemed for this club, which is a great club,” he said.

“We all know that Yann is a good player and I think that the owners have made a strong gesture [by suspending him]. We must respect the club and the history of it and for this reason we must pay attention to every behaviour. There are very strong guidelines. This does not just apply to Yann but all the members of the club.”
