Gabriele Gravina, the president of the Italian football federation – FIGC, has shared his thoughts and feelings about the possibility that Inter and Milan could build a new stadium.

“The desire for revival and investment shows that there is a great awakening. The FIGC must support these forms of revival and facilitate it. It is not by chance that today we will have a definitive meeting in which we will put the discussion of infrastructure on the table,” he said on the sidelines of the 43rd UEFA Congress that took place in Rome.

He also shared his desire for Italy to host Euro 2028 which will have an impact on infrastructure.

“It’s more than just a thought, it’s a very well founded idea and part of my programme. We have to work together for this project as Euro 2028 can help out infrastructure, which is a fundamental asset for our football. We have the support of the government and I hope that UEFA can also support our hopes.”
