Inter have set their eyes on Empoli’s right back, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, who has been a revelation in the past few months according to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

According to the report Di Lorenzo has caught Inter’s attention as they will continue to monitor his situation and make decisions based on how both he and Cedric Soares perform in the coming months.

“The boy is no longer a youngster, he was born in 1993, but after a lot of playing in the lower divisions, this year he has established himself among the best right backs in the Serie A with 2 goals and 1 assist in the three games prior to yesterday’s match against Lazio.”

“Inter are currently evaluating different profiles for the right back position. Even though Inter have recently acquired Cedric Soares from Southampton on loan, his redemption fee is set at 11 million euros and that will depend on his performances in the next few months. In recent days, Marotta has spoken with Empoli’s director of sports, Pecini, about Di Lorenzo.”
