Inter’s Uruguayan international midfielder, Matias Vecino, stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts going into tonight’s Serie A clash away against Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, with kick-off scheduled for 20.30 CET.

The former Fiorentina man was under no illusions as to the importance of tonight’s match after an abysmal start to the Serie A in 2019 where the team has not scored a goal in three consecutive league matches.

“We have let a lot of points get away from us, we cannot afford to drop any more points. We hope that we will be able to get the win tonight. In moments like these technique does not count for much, but you have to use your head and never allow yourself to lose your concentration.”

In conclusion Vecino was asked if he will score tonight to which he replied: “Let us hope that I score, but the most important thing is to win. We have not been able to win three points in a long time now.”
