Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio stopped by Italian broadcaster DAZN moments before kick-off at the Stadio Ennio Tardini where the Nerazzurri face off against Parma.

The Nerazzurri director was asked about how Ivan Perisic will be reintegrated into the team and the club to which he responded very clearly.

“He has looked very good just as the entire team has looked good. The discussion ended on January 31st when the transfer window shut. It is normal that this week has been uncomfortable for everyone, the players above all, but now we have restarted things. He has been working really well and we are convinced that soon we will see Perisic at his best.”

In conclusion Ausilio was asked about the rumors regarding FC Barcelona’s Croatian international midfielder Ivan Rakitic which he was not at all willing to talk about.

“We are not talking about our squad next year, we are thinking about how to make our current players to be able to express themselves in the best way possible. We will think about these things in the future.”
