FCInterNews.it have taken a look at ways that Inter could line-up against Rapid Vienna dependent on the availability of Borja Valero.

The Spaniard is showing positive signs ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League round of 32 first leg clash having been sidelined through injury for the past few games.

If Valero makes it, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is likely to deploy Inter in a 4-2-3-1 system with the 34-year-old partnering Matias Vecino in the midfield tandem.

However, should he not make it, Spalletti could still opt for 4-2-3-1 but at the expense of Radja Nainggolan playing as an attacking midfielder. Instead the Belgian would drop back and partner Vecino while Matteo Politano could play as the attacking midfielder for the match at the Allianz Stadion.

Alternatively if he does not make it, Spalletti could deploy Inter in a 4-4-2 which would give Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez a rare opportunity to start together up top.
