Inter are unable to meet the current demands presented to them by Mauro Icardi’s wife/agent Wanda Icardi according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

It is believed that Icardi is demanding an annual salary between €9-10 million plus bonuses but Inter are more likely to offer a deal between €6.5-7 million a season with some rich bonuses attached that would bring his total annual salary to the €9-10 million mark.

Negotiations have been going on for a number of months now and Inter may wait until they consolidate themselves in the Champions League places before making another move to try and prolong the captain’s stay at the club.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to state that, “What Will Wanda’s answer to all of this be? She is likely to decide to wait for the transfer window in which the €110 million release clause will be active. If an offer arrives, who knows…”
