Gazzetta dello Sport have revealed some details about the meeting that took place between Mauro Icardi and Inter management today at training in wake of the recent chaos that has seen him stripped of the Inter captaincy.
The meeting between Icardi, chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, sporting director Piero Ausilio and chief football organisation officer Giovanni Gardini was brief and lasted only around 15 minutes.
Exact details of the conversation are unknown although it can be quite safely presumed that the aim of the meeting was to clear the air between all parties.
The report continues, Icardi arrived half an hour ahead of schedule this morning for training and left the Angelo Moratti Sports Centre shortly after 2pm having undergone some personalised work and physiotherapy on a knee injury.
Inter winger Keita Balde also underwent treatment as he nears a complete recovery from a thigh injury that has sidelined him in past weeks.
