Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio and Inter’s chief football operations officer Giovanni Gardini are both currently at Inter’s Angelo Moratti Sports Centre training ground and will soon be joined by the Nerazzurri’s chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta according to a report from Sky Sport.
The report from the broadcaster also goes on to touch upon Mauro Icardi. The Argentine striker is not training with the rest of his teammates and is undergoing physiotherapy for the second day in a row, even though he is not injured as confirmed last night by Ausilio prior to the win over Rapid Vienna which Icardi refused the call-up for.
The club have decided against taking any disciplinary action against Icardi and therefore his place in the squad for this weekend is not considered to be currently at risk.
25-year-old Icardi, who was stripped of the captaincy on Wednesday, has made 28 appearances across all competitions this season in which he has scored 15 goals.
