According to Milano based Gazzetta dello Sport, Nainggolan’s odds are on the rise in view of tomorrow’s match against Sampdoria and it is now the Belgian who has a slight advantage over Joao Mario, in order to stick to the 4-2-3-1 which is so dear to Spalletti.

For the rest, certainly Skriniar and Brozovic will return to the lineup after they were unavailable against Rapid Vienna in the Europa League due to suspensions on Thursday evening, with D’ambrosio replacing Cedric at right back. Dalbert is also likely to start to give Asamoah a rest on the left of defence.

Vecino will retain his place in midfield alongside Brozovic and Politano and Perisic will continue to flank Lautaro Martinez in attack given Icardi’s expected absence. Keita is still among the unavailable as he recovers from injury.

The probable lineup according to the Gazzetta dello Sport:

Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar, Dalbert; Vecino, Brozovic; Politano, Nainggolan, Perisic; Martinez.
