Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera reports in today’s paper edition of the newspaper that Inter’s Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi does not believe the club’s official reason for stripping him of his captaincy.

According to the report: “Icardi is convinced that he was stripped of his captaincy, not because of the statements by his wife or the problematic relationship with some players in the dressing room, but because Inter have already decided to sell him at the end of the season.”

Therefore, he considers the decision to be unfair and “has no intention to return to playing again until the club apologizes. So far, he has been gritting his teeth playing through the pain but now he will prioritize a full recovery before returning to the pitch.”

Meanwhile his wife and agent will be on TV again tonight on Tiki Taka or as Corriere reports: “The keyword here is should because, after the everything that has transpired in the last few days, Mediaset is considering what to do with the Argentinian showgirl. If she does indeed participate in the program, she must maintain a non-hostile approach towards Inter.”
