Inter’s Italian international central midfielder Roberto Gagliardini stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, to share his thoughts on the first half which ended goalless in the Serie A match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, where the Nerazzurri host Sampdoria.
The former Atalanta man seemed happy enough with the first 45 minutes from his team but underlined that Sampdoria have not been without their chances.
“We are playing a good match but they have also had some good chances but we have to continue like this.”
When asked about his own performance the Italian international midfielder acknowledged that he was happy to be playing but that the three points are all that matters.
“I have a great will to give my contribution to the team but the only thing that counts is to win and in the second half we will look to do just that.”
