Inter winger Matteo Politano urged himself and teammates to keep on going after their 2-1 win over Sampdoria this evening stretched Inter’s winning run to three games.

“We must not stop, this result is an important one as it gives us continuity after the other recent results we have had. We now have to work hard for two very important upcoming matches with Rapid Vienna and Fiorentina in the coming week,” he insisted in an interview with Inter TV.

“On Thursday the match against Rapid was not great but today we played well, we kept them pinned in their own half and kept going.

The Italian came close with a few shots and then admitted he was missing the scoring feeling.

“Yes I do miss scoring and that is normal but the team always comes first. As long as you win, everything is well.”

He concluded the interview by speaking on how he felt physically with this match being his first back in Serie A after serving a two match ban.

“Today I felt better physically, especially compared to Thursday, even if in the second half I felt a bit tired but I have to keep working.”
