FC Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic has already accepted a transfer to the Serie A and Inter when the transfer window opens this summer according Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to the report, the Croatian international midfielder has his heart set on playing in the Serie A and this way Inter have already been able to count on his availability in order to plan for a transfer in the summer.
The former Sevilla player has twice been close to a transfer to the Serie A, the first time was in 2007 when Juventus were interested but never followed through, and the second time was when AC Milan were pondering to make a move but instead opted to go for Mark Van Bommel.
In conclusion, the Gazzetta report, that the player’s wife Raquel could play an important role in the transfer materializing given that she is in love with Milano and the fashion world.
