Mauro Icardi expects Inter to apologize to him for stripping him of his captaincy Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports in today’s paper edition of the newspaper.
According to the report: “Inter are asking the player for a relaxing gesture but Icardi is in the opposite direction. In fact he expects that the club should apologize to him for the gesture of stripping him of the captaincy, which he considers was unjustified. If he doesn’t he is threatening not to play and recover his knee until further notice.”
According to the report, Icardi’s contact with the Inter squad is limited to three players, namely Lautaro Martinez, Matias Vecino and Borja Valero as “the rest pf the squad are going in another direction. And they are travelling on a convinced manner as demonstrated by what Spalletti stated yesterday, as well as the positive atmosphere for Ranocchia’s birthday, celebrated on the pitch as well as for dinner. On Tuesday it is Mauro Icardi’s birthday and who knows what will happen for his birthday.”
