Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta spoke with Inter’s in-house tv channel Inter TV following this afternoon’s shareholders meeting that brought about some changes to the Board of Directors.
“I am extremely happy to be here today, I am proud to be in a glorious club so rich in history. My commitment is to transmit all my experience to get back to obtaining prestigious results and to raise important trophies.
“This season, Inter has returned to an important stage like the Champions League and this is important: we must consolidate this position and grow during this season. to get the most out of preparing for another vintage that will have to be even better than this one.”
Having spoken with Inter TV, Marotta held an interview with Rai Sport where he spoke on Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala.
“We’re not going to sell Icardi,” he insisted.
“We believe he’s a great player who’s done well for Inter and who will do well in the future. As for what Paratici said, I think the same answer applies to Dybala: we’ll see what he does in June. What Paratici said was inappropriate.”
