Sky Sport Italia are reporting that Giuseppe Marotta and Juventus’ Fabio Paratici did not leave on good terms when the current Inter CEO left the Turin giants earlier in the season.

They go on to say: “The two did not leave on good terms. Their relationship had deteriorated towards the end of Marotta’s time at Juventus but now the two are are adversaries they are even more so at war with each other.”

The claims come from Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio who was speaking live from the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid ahead of Juventus’s first knockout round tie against Atletico Madrid tomorrow evening on Sky Sport 24.

He went on to say: “We should prepare ourselves for some battles in the transfer market between Inter and Juventus.

“One of which was Aaron Ramsey in January but others could take place with Luca Tonali and Federico Chiesa this summer.

“Also it is worth mentioning that Juventus tried to derail Inter’s signing of Diego Godin form Atletico Madrid. Unfortunately by that time it was too late and Inter had already confirmed the deal.

“Apart from Dybala – Icardi, we should prepare ourselves for various skirmishes.

“With regards to Icardi we will have to see how this pans out because with Inter requesting a medical checkup to be done on their former captain, it would see that peace between the two is a long way off right now.

“Having said that yesterday Steven Zhang said that Icardi would never go to Juventus and this is worth noting.”
