Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici have been in a war of words with another in recent days and come the Summer they are likely to be in a transfer market war too, at least according to a report from Tuttosport.

Marotta tried – albeit eventually in vein – to sign Aaron Ramsey on a pre-contract but the Bianconeri pipped him to the Welshman’s signature.

Both clubs meanwhile have a strong interest in Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa and Brescia’s Sandro Tonali. Marotta is hopeful that he will be able to take advantage of his good relations with Fiorentina in order to get Chiesa’s signature ahead of his former employers.

The report goes on to state that Juventus are keen on signing Roma starlet Nicolo Zaniolo. The Italian youngster joined the Giallorossi as part of a deal that sent Radja Nainggolan to Inter in the Summer and has far exceeded expectations.

Should Juventus sign him, Inter will pocket 15% of the fee and given that his future looks set to be at the top of the game, that could be a decent amount.
