Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has revealed that he is not letting his recent struggles in front of goal, since arriving at Flamengo on loan, get to him and is predicting the goals to come soon.

The Brazilian forward completed a year-long loan switch to the Mengao in January and is still yet to find the back of the net in competitive action, the only one of the Brazilian giants January signings who has so far failed to do so.

“The goals will come. Everything goes better when you are scoring,” the 22-year-old, who is on loan from Inter, is quoted as saying by netfla.com.br.

“I am confident, I feel good and I am sure the goals will come soon,” he said.

Asked how he has found the club since his arrival, the four-time full Brazilian international responded: “I feel like I am growing up, I am happy here at the Flamengo.”
