Lautaro Martinez has become something of a fans favourite at the San Siro this season amongst the Inter faithful.

His determination and desire has had fans of the Beneamata clamouring for him to have a more regular starting place in the Inter first team. In the absence of fellow Argentine Mauro Icardi he is currently getting his chance and thriving.

The Argentine striker meet with fans in the centre of Milan where he was doing some marketing for his new boot sponsorship deal with Nike at the Calcioshop.

Whilst there he spoke to a few fans and various bloggers including a representative from FCInterNews.it.

“I have found a difference under my feet and in my boots but the most important thing is to always work hard on the pitch. I look at my boots as a tool for my job.”

The former Racing Club striker was asked if their a specific pair of boots that he preferred more than any others: “The ones I hold closest are the ones I have worn when debuting in some important stadiums.”

Martinez was asked who is the best player he has come up against. He replied by citing one of his own team mates: “I have come up against some many good players but Milan Skriniar surprised me a great deal with how he trains and defends.

“Ronaldo is a great player but I am talking about defenders but there are many important players about. Ronaldo is one, as is Dybala. There are many players high quality players in Italy at the moment and this helps Italian football a great deal.”

Finally Martinez was asked if he listens to music before a game: “Of course. I enjoy Reggaeton music but I don’t have a favourite artist.”
