Mauro Icardi continued with physiotherapy sessions at Inter’s Angelo Moratti Sports Centre training complex yesterday according to a report from Sky Sport.
The Argentine has been sidelined for Inter’s past two games with Sampdoria and Rapid Vienna respectively having told the club he is having a problem with his knee.
His right knee has inflamed and the club have been monitoring his condition and he will today undergo a full medical check-up to confirm the extent of any damage.
The report also details that prior to training commencing, Icardi’s Inter teammates wished him happy birthday – albeit not in the now traditional Inter way of covering someone with eggs and flour.
After the birthday wishes were over, the team went out to training and Icardi went to do his physiotherapy. By the team the rest of the squad finished their work, Icardi has already left the training ground to return home.
