Inter legend Alessandro Altobelli has taken to social media to share his thoughts on the seemingly never ending drama between Mauro Icardi, his wife/agent Wanda and Inter.
“I have already expressed myself on the Wanda, Icardi, Inter situation but after the TV show I thought that the case was almost closed,” he began a long post to Instagram.
“Yesterday, as soon as I read that the agent of Mauro said that Icardi would return to the field only with the captain’s armband, I thought that Wanda had another team lined up and at that point there would be no more space to make peace as it seemed on TV.
He continued: “But the telenovela is not over because Wanda responds on Twitter saying that it [the reports] is all bulls**t. Yes, you understood correctly, that article is false according to Wanda.
“So I wonder if in such a delicate moment it was appropriate to shoot them down. Why put them in even more trouble? I hope the former captain makes a sensible request and that the club make a proposal as promised. Above all it is not the time to ask for the armband.”
