Inter are not alone in courting Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic with a view to a Summer move according to a report from Spanish newspaper Sport.

German giants Bayern Munich have sparked an interest in the Croatian while Chelsea have today been forced to relinquish their interest upon being hit with a transfer ban for the next two transfer windows.

Manchester United and Inter’s arch-rivals Juventus are also lurking in the shadows for the soon to be 31-year-old who was part of the Croatia team that lost out in the World Cup final last Summer.

As things stand, Barcelona are not convinced about Inter’s interest in the midfielder because Inter are unable to present them a reasonable offer at this stage due to them still being limited by their financial fair play settlement agreement.

Various other reports that have surfaced in recent days state that Paris St. Germain made him a lucrative offer but he knocked the French giants back too.
