Inter made it three wins from three in all competitions after defeating Sampdoria 2-1 in Match Day 24 of the Serie A at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, after goals from Danilo D’Ambrosio and Radja Nainggolan.

Samir Handanovic – 6: Was a spectator for most of the night but when called upon he came up with the goods. Taken captaincy role on brilliantly so far.

Cedric Soares – 6: His crossing in open play and in set pieces are simply sublime but his positioning, especially when defending, is shaky to put it nicely.

Milan Skriniar – 7: Made one mistake, made up for it and after that his usual world class faultless self. Renew, extend and build around this man.

Andrea Ranocchia – 6,5: His volley goal would have made any striker in the world proud but still makes mistakes that almost cost the team a goal.

Kwadwo Asamoah – 6: Did what he needed to do without much fuss and kept entire left flank defensively which gave Perisic freedom to mostly attack.

Marcelo Brozovic – 7: Has turned into everything one could have assumed compatriot Kovacic would one day become. The brain and lungs of this team.

Matias Vecino – 6,5: Within 10 minutes you know what kind of game he is going to have. Great movement and scored another goal in a European cup.

Antonio Candreva – 6: Inter’s Mr. Bean tries so hard but it all ends up blowing up in his face. Ran, passed and even crossed well but missed two sitters. Again.

Radja Nainggolan – 6,5: Continued on his long journey of redemption with yet another consistantly good 90 minute performance. Looks fresh and fit.

Ivan Perisic – 8: The opposition was poor but in this form, it doesn’t matter who he plays. Brilliant performance crowned with a gorgeous goal.

Lautaro Martinez – 6,5: Looked like he scored the first goal but it was awarded to Vecino. Continues to give movement, pace, intelligence and flair in attack.

Borja Valero – 6: Came on for Brozovic in the 62nd minute and replaced the Croatian very well. Such a good player to have on the bench in these games.

Matteo Politano – 6,5: Replaced Lautaro in the 66th minute and caused the Austrians all sorts of problems with his technique and skill as a striker.

Joao Miranda – N/A: Brought on towards the end to replace Skriniar when the game was over and didn’t play enough to be given a rating.

Luciano Spalletti – 7: Spot on team selection and tactical approach once again. His form, just like his team’s form is great right now. February is his month.

Artur Dias – 6,5: Very good performance by the referee and his officials who got all major decisions right.

Inter – 7: Comfortable and impressive performance. Did what needed to be done without wasting energy which will be needed vs Fiorentina.
