Eintracht Frankfurt players Luka Jovic, Jonathan De Guzman and Gelson Fernandes have given their thoughts on their side drawing Inter in the Europa League round of 16 draw.

The German side will host the first leg on March 7 with the reverse fixture to take place the following week on March 14 at San Siro.

Jovic, who is the club’s top scorer this season, was succinct with his thoughts on the draw.

“If we play as well as we can, there are no opponents too big for us.”

De Guzman is no stranger to Inter having played them a number of times previously and added: “Inter are a strong team with strong individual players. It’s a good draw for us and a good test. We’re pleased to be involved at this stage. The stadium is one of the best I’ve ever played in. I’m looking forward to both games.”

Gelson Fernandes too has previous experience against Inter and spoke on just how big the game is.

“I know Inter. They’re big opponents. It’s a huge tie involving clubs from Italy and Germany. I’m pleased for our fans – they don’t have to travel far. I’ve already played there against both Milan clubs and it’s a very special atmosphere.”
