Telelombardia TV director, Fabio Ravezzani gave his thoughts on the VAR penalty decision dedicating the headlines in the aftermath of last nights’ Serie A game between Fiorentina and Inter.

The outspoken TV man said “it is less humiliating and not as bad to have not seen something that actually happened than to see something that just didn’t happen. The penalty for Fiorentina was a pure invention, maybe Abisso didn’t want to be corrected for the third time in the same game. Maybe in the VAR room there wasn’t someone with the prestige to make him change his decision.”

Continuing Ravezzani went on to criticise Inter’s former President Massimo Moratti: “Moratti had a court of journalists servants to the Moratti thought and he indulged their theories. Unfortunately, in addition to many good things, Moratti also invented the whining Inter in which he basked in the respect of the damages he suffered on the pitch. It almost became his trademark. Marotta on the other hand spoke in a correct manner, how can you not complain about something like that? How can you say that what Marotta said was not legitimate?”
