The ongoing fallout between Icardi and Inter continues to rumble on as Sky Italia reports today that there has been no progress in the feud between the former captain and the club.

The team reported for training this morning, the day after Inter’s controversial 3-3 draw away to Fiorentina in Serie A where a penalty was awarded with VAR for an alleged handball by Danilo D’Ambrosio in the box in injury time even though the ball appeared to strike the defender on the chest, but yet again the Argentinian striker did not train with his fellow team mates and instead trained alone. Sky’s Matteo Barzaghi reported: “yet again today, as manager Luciano Spalletti tried to transform the players anger from last night into positive energy ahead of Inter’s up coming games, Mauro Icardi trained alone and received physiotherapy on his knee. Spalletti continues to not have him at his disposal and Icardi continues to not be ready to train with his team mates. At the moment there has been no progress on healing the rift between the player and the club.”
