According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter’s game against Cagliari on Friday evening will be a special one for Nicolo Barella in particular.
The talented midfielder has been on Inter’s radar for a number of months now and this could be his chance to show the Nerazzurri what he can do.
“There will be time for offers and proposals, but in the meantime Barella’s current focus is on the game against Inter. He will be looking at Inter as opponents, as well as his former teammate Radja Nainggolan.”
The Rome based newspaper then go on to compare the two players.
“They are both similar in terms of intensity and the ability to get the ball away from the opponent’s feet. The two will hug before and after the game, but during the 90 minutes there will be no room for sentimentality. Seeing how the two midfielders share so much similarity including being represented by the same agent, Alessandro Beltrami.”
