Tuttosport have provided an update on the situation between Inter and Mauro Icardi, who continues to go to Appiano Gentile every day to perform physiotherapy on his right knee.

“The injury that Icardi has been carrying for months is now the subject of contention, perhaps even more so than the renewal of his contract, which will probably be delivered to Wanda Nara by Beppe Marotta in the next few days, even if her response will almost certainly be negative,” their report reads.

It goes on: “Icardi has decided to get treatment done on his knee, but at the moment there are no new examinations and there probably won’t be any examinations until next week when he consults with the medical staff again to understand how to proceed.

“Mauro is thinking about having work done on his knee, which means he could travel abroad to get another opinion before deciding whether or not to go under the knife.”
